Offering in-person and telehealth sessions

Sophie works with teens, and young adults experiencing trauma, interpersonal conflicts, anxiety, and depression. After experiencing first-hand the magic of a good therapist, Sophie decided to pursue her passion for psychology and embark on a career in mental health counseling, earning her Master’s in Counseling with a child specialization through Northwestern University.

Sophie utilizes psychodynamic, humanistic, and relational approaches in her talk therapy, and may also use techniques drawn from play therapy or Trauma-Focused CBT. Building a strong foundation of trust is at the core of her practice, ensuring clients feel safe and supported as they navigate their therapeutic journey. Sophie is committed to meeting clients where they are in their healing process, tailoring her therapeutic approach to what is best suited for each individual.

Sophie is aware of the extraordinary societal pressure felt by teens and young adults today, and brings unconditional acceptance and understanding to all her therapeutic relationships. By incorporating appropriate humor into her work and encouraging authenticity, Sophie creates a comfortable and engaging environment for her clients.
