Family & Couples Therapy

Relationships can be one of the greatest sources of connection, meaning, and support in our lives - and also one of the places where we feel the most hurt, overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck. At WCW we provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space for couples and families to slow down, improve communication, deepen understanding, and move toward healthier, more connected relationships.

Couples Therapy

Couples therapy can help partners strengthen their connection, navigate conflict more effectively, and rebuild trust and understanding. Whether you are feeling disconnected, caught in repetitive arguments, struggling through a major transition, or simply wanting to improve the health of your relationship, therapy can offer a space to better understand one another and create meaningful change.

Couples may seek therapy for concerns including:

  • Communication difficulties

  • Conflict and recurring arguments

  • Parenting stress and co-parenting challenges

  • Life transitions and changing family roles

  • Intimacy and emotional disconnection

  • Infidelity or breaches of trust

  • Anxiety, trauma, or stress impacting the relationship

  • Navigating neurodivergence within relationships

  • Cross-cultural or identity-related challenges

Our therapists utilize evidence-based and relational approaches to help couples move away from cycles of blame, defensiveness, and disconnection and toward greater emotional safety, empathy, and collaboration.

Family Therapy

Family therapy supports families in understanding patterns, improving communication, and strengthening relationships during difficult or transitional periods. Families are complex systems, and when one member is struggling, the entire family can feel the impact. Family therapy creates space for each person’s perspective while helping families work toward healthier dynamics and deeper connection.

Family therapy may be helpful for:

  • Parent-child conflict

  • Blended family adjustment

  • Divorce or separation

  • Behavioral or emotional concerns in children and teens

  • School-related stress

  • Grief and loss

  • Family communication challenges

  • Caregiver burnout and parenting stress

  • Boundary-setting and conflict resolution

  • Supporting a loved one through mental health or health challenges

Our clinicians work collaboratively with families to foster compassion, understanding, and more effective ways of relating to one another. We recognize that healing within families often happens through strengthening connection, increasing emotional awareness, and creating space for each member to feel valued and understood.
