Rachel earned her Bachelor’s Degree in English at New York University in 2012 and her Master’s Degree at Lesley University in Mental Health Counseling in 2023. She is currently working towards her license in Mental Health Counseling and is supervised by Dr. Bryan Harnsberger, PsD. Rachel believes in promoting self-understanding and personal empowerment, working alongside the individual with a supportive, relational approach to foster positive change and personal growth. Rachel tailors her therapeutic approach to the unique goals of each person served, underscored by a strength-based orientation and trauma-informed lens. She is committed to helping individuals get to know their strengths and areas of resiliency as well as the thoughts, feelings, or patterns of behavior that stand in their way. Rachel draws from various therapeutic approaches such a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, Somatic Therapy, and Expressive Arts Therapy. If you are struggling with anxiety, depression, relationships, family or workplace conflict, feeling “stuck,” burnt-out, or uncertain, Rachel will work alongside you to address these challenges and work towards empowerment and ease.

Rachel completed her practicum and internship at Riverside Community Care as an outpatient clinician. Before becoming a therapist, Rachel has worked in the book world as an editor and in hospitality both in and out of the kitchen. She maintains a passion for cooking and eating.
