Offering in-person and telehealth sessions

Lisa is a pre-licensed clinical Mental Health Counselor who chose to pursue a second career in counseling after retiring from a career as an attorney. She was drawn to counseling by her strong desire to help others navigate life’s challenges and to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. Lisa is supervised by Dr. Bryan Harnsberger, PsyD as she works towards her license in Mental Health Counseling.

Lisa believes that therapy begins with feeling comfortable, heard, and understood. She strives to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients can feel safe exploring their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Lisa draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Person-Centered Therapy. She believes that every person is unique and that therapy should be tailored to each client’s individual needs and goals.

Lisa enjoys working with clients of all ages and is passionate about supporting people who are experiencing anxiety or depression, navigating life transitions, managing the demands of work or school, experiencing relationship challenges, or feeling overwhelmed by everyday life.

Lisa’s goal is to help clients better understand themselves, develop healthy coping strategies, and feel more confident in managing life’s challenges. She is committed to working collaboratively with each client to find greater balance, create meaningful change, and build a life that feels more fulfilling and manageable.
