Alex was born and raised in Natick, Massachusetts. He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from The University of Massachusetts Amherst before earning his Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Couples and Family Therapy at William James College. Alex is currently working towards his license in Mental Health Counseling, as well as his license in Marriage and Family Therapy and is supervised by Dr. Bryan Harnsberger, PsD. In Alex’s work with clients, he utilizes an integrative therapeutic approach, blending various methodologies to best serve his clients. By incorporating elements of person-centered therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Traditional Family Systems, and Adlerian Therapy, Alex aims to craft a comprehensive and tailored approach for each individual he works with. 

Alex is passionate about creating a supportive, non-judgmental, and safe environment where clients feel empowered to explore their thoughts, emotions, and struggles. He firmly believes in the collaborative nature of therapy, recognizing that building trust and fostering a positive therapeutic relationship are vital components of a successful therapeutic experience. 

Alex has years of experience working in mental health settings with children, teens, young adults, and families. His special interests include depression, anxiety, relational issues, trauma, life transitions, and grief.

In his free time, Alex enjoys playing sports, spending time with his dog, and being outdoors on a hike or by a lake.
