Offering telehealth sessions

Rebecca Johnson, LMHC, ATR (she/her/hers) loves working with cycle breakers who are approaching burnout, who are done feeling overwhelmed and disconnected from their unique selves.  Her clients are learners, thinkers and healers, who appreciate understanding themselves, who strive to have deeper and more meaningful relationships, and who want to make a positive impact on the world and take responsibility for the trajectory of their lives.  Rebecca believes that each client has their own unique strength and spark, and actively builds a safe space for therapy that also includes room for joy, creativity and laughter.

Rebecca loves working with adolescents, young adults, and adults, and has experience treating depression, anxiety, trauma, and ADHD.  She has confidence in providing support in navigating life changes, complex health needs, grief, work stressors, parenting and relationships.  Rebecca believes in her clients and the pursuit of their goals, using a relational approach to combine a diverse range of person-centered, strength-based, trauma-informed and developmentally appropriate interventions including CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and is EMDR-trained.  She draws from Psychodynamic, Solution-Focused, Sensori-motor, Somatic, and Expressive Therapy traditions to collaboratively bring about insight and growth.

For over ten years, Rebecca has had the privilege of witnessing clients and their families heal and experience true, lasting change.  She has earned two Master's Degrees in the study of art therapy, art in the community, and mental health, and has provided supervision, mentorship and consultation.  Her clinical interests include perinatal and perimenopause support, neurodiversity, sensory processing disorder, healing the healer, and the impact of health on mental health.
