Offering in-person and telehealth sessions
Ben Warren has a background in Mental Health Counseling with Expressive Arts Therapy from Lesley University and has worked with adults and adolescents in a variety of settings. In building a therapeutic partnership, Ben can help you set short-term goals and build skills to manage symptoms of anxiety/depression, tackle ADHD roadblocks, break down tasks during challenging life transitions, navigate LGBTQIA+ and other intersectional identities, practice communication skills, or delve deeper to address traumas with individualized care in a non-judgmental environment.
In therapy with Ben, it is a partnership. You are the expert on yourself and with Ben’s guidance you can deepen your mental health awareness and personal understanding to establish healthier routines and be more compassionate towards yourself in your daily living. Ben’s approach is founded in Expressive Arts Therapy with an integration of other evidence-based approaches, such as Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, DBT, IFS, and personalized client-centered attention.
In his free time, Ben is a big believer in the Scandinavian practice of friluftsliv and tries to get outdoors no matter the season; whether it is backyard movie nights, biking, hiking, camping or simply a walk in the neighborhood.
